About MARGE
What is MARGE?
MARGE is a profitability and cost intelligence app for food-service businesses. It reads your sales, purchases, recipes and stock, finds where margin is being lost, explains why, and suggests actions you can consider.
Who is it for?
Restaurants, cafés and coffee shops, bakeries and pastry shops, fast-food businesses and other food-service operators that buy ingredients and sell what they make.
Is MARGE a POS or till system?
No. MARGE works alongside the till, POS and suppliers you already have. It reads the information they produce; it doesn’t replace them.
Which languages does the app support?
The MARGE app is available in English, French and Arabic, including right-to-left Arabic.
Data and accuracy
What do I need to get started?
The exports you already have: sales, purchase invoices, recipes, stock counts and menu prices. Our team helps with the first import and checks units, recipes and costs with you.
How reliable are the figures?
Every amount comes from your own data and can be traced back to it. Each finding shows a confidence level that reflects how complete the data is. Estimates are not guaranteed savings.
What if my data is incomplete?
MARGE says so. Findings based on limited data carry a lower confidence, and where a comparison isn’t reliable it isn’t shown.
Does MARGE compare my prices with other businesses?
Comparisons with anonymised local references are designed to appear only where MARGE has enough reliable observations. They are not available everywhere, and the app tells you when they aren’t.
Decisions
Will MARGE change my prices or suppliers?
Never. MARGE shows what it found, why it matters and the options worth considering. You decide what to do. Nothing is applied automatically.
Does accepting a plan mean I saved money?
No. An accepted plan is recorded as planned. MARGE does not count it as savings; compare your own results once you have acted.

How does the free first month work?
Send the short request form. Our team reviews it, contacts you and arranges guided onboarding. The first month is free for eligible food-service businesses.
How long does onboarding take?
It depends on your files and how your business is organised. We agree the steps with you when we get in touch.
Is MARGE available in my country?
MARGE is built for food businesses in different countries. Tell us where you operate in your request and we’ll confirm what onboarding we can offer.
What happens to the files I share?
They are used to set up and run your MARGE analysis. How they are stored and protected will be set out in the privacy notice, which is being finalised before launch. If you have specific requirements, mention them in your request.
What does MARGE cost after the first month?
Pricing isn’t published on this website. Our team explains it during onboarding, before your free month ends. No payment is taken through this website.
